Alan G. Dunn is the Co-Founder and President of Dunkirk Governance Specialists, LLC. Mr. Dunn is also the President of GDI Consulting & Training Company, a professional firm serving the manufacturing and distribution industries. Previously, Mr. Dunn was a Vice President at Gemini Consulting and a Partner at Coopers & Lybrand. For the ten years prior to joining Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Dunn was President, (and Founder) of ADI Consulting, a successful consulting and training company that Alan sold to Coopers & Lybrand in 1990. Mr. Dunn has many years of governance experience, both as a consultant to Boards and as a Director. He currently serves as an independent Director on the following Boards:
  • Idaho Asphalt Supply Corporation, a large western states producer of asphalt paving and road coating products, with numerous manufacturing facilities across 5 states. Mr. Dunn is also Chairman of the Board's Compensation Committee.

  • Natural Alternatives International, Inc (NASDAQ: NAII) an international producer of nutritional supplements with factories in Southern California and Switzerland. Mr. Dunn is also a Member of the Board's Compensation and Audit Committees.
Mr. Dunn is well known in the governance world evidenced through his numerous training programs and published works. In 2007, Alan was awarded the prestigious Director of the Year award by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

Alan has served on more than a dozen Boards of Directors over his career. He is an active member in the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and regularly presents executive-level training programs at the California Institute of Technology’s (Caltech) executive training center in Pasadena, California.

Mr. Dunn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from California State University, Fullerton.
Steven S. Kirkpatrick is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Dunkirk Governance Specialists, LLC. Mr. Kirkpatrick is also the Founder and Managing Director of Closeburn Asset Management LLC, a firm that provides specialized consulting services to professional fiduciaries. For 21 years prior to forming Closeburn in 2007, Mr. Kirkpatrick served as an executive at U.S. Trust Company, where he managed the Specialty Asset Management Group. Mr. Kirkpatrick has extensive corporate governance experience, both as a representative of U.S. Trust and as an independent Director. He currently serves as an independent Director on the following board:
  • Gunther International Ltd, (NASDAQ: SORT). A designer and manufacturer of high speed document finishing systems. The company’s inkjet subsidiary designs, manufactures and sells high speed ink jet print “engines” that incorporate proprietary Hewlett Packard technology. Mr. Kirkpatrick is also a Member of the Board's Compensation and Audit Committees.

Mr. Kirkpatrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Mr. Kirkpatrick recently published an article entitled: “Corporate Governance From a Fiduciary Perspective”, which was featured in the July/August 2007 issue of Trusts & Investments Magazine.
